The third day of the conference saw SJPEE team conduct a site visit to the exhibition halls. SJPEE highly valued this exceptional opportunity to engage in extensive and in-depth exchanges with global oil companies, EPC contractors, procurement executives, and industry leaders present at the summit, jointly exploring technological innovations and new collaboration opportunities in the field of oil-gas separation.

As one of the core sessions of the conference, the “FPSO Construction and Project Management Forum” addressed cutting-edge topics related to this central equipment for offshore oil and gas development. The FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading unit) can be regarded as a “mobile base” for modern offshore oil and gas operations, whose design and construction standards directly determine the efficiency and profitability of resource development. The forum brought together top global experts, scholars, and industry leaders in the offshore engineering field, who engaged in forward-looking and constructive in-depth exchanges on key areas such as FPSO technological innovation, modular construction, and digital project management.
Participation in this year’s “FPSO Construction and Project Management Forum” has provided the SJPEE team with invaluable insights at the industry forefront. The technological innovations and project management paradigms discussed during the sessions not only align closely with SJPEE’s strategic development direction but have also offered critical references for technical pathways and management approaches relevant to our ongoing projects. This deep engagement has significantly broadened the team’s global perspective and reinforced SJPEE’s determination to further deepen its presence and drive innovation in the future offshore engineering sector.

During the conference breaks, we systematically toured the various exhibition zones, closely monitoring the latest developments in global oil and gas equipment and technology. We precisely identified a compressor supplier whose technical philosophy aligns highly with our own. Through in-depth discussions with their team, we gained valuable insights and initiated preliminary explorations into potential collaboration opportunities.
The Offshore Energy & Equipment Global Conference serves as a vital platform for tracking the industry’s pulse and connecting global resources. Our visit to the Shanghai exhibition has proven highly rewarding.
Shanghai Shangjiang Petroleum Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. established in Shanghai in 2016, is a modern technology enterprise integrating R&D, design, production, and service. We are dedicated to developing separation and filtration equipment for the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. Our high-efficiency product portfolio includes de-oiling/dewatering hydrocyclones, desanders for micron-sized particles, and compact flotation units. We provide complete skid-mounted solutions and also offer third-party equipment retrofitting and after-sales services. Holding multiple proprietary patents and operating under a DNV-GL certified ISO-9001, ISO-14001, and ISO-45001 management system, we deliver optimized process solutions, precise product design, strict adherence to engineering specifications, and ongoing operational support.
Our high-efficiency cyclone desanders, renowned for their exceptional 98% separation rate, have earned recognition from international energy leaders. Constructed with advanced wear-resistant ceramics, these units achieve 98% removal of particles as fine as 0.5 microns in gas streams. This capability enables the reinjection of produced gas for miscible flooding in low-permeability reservoirs, a key solution for enhancing oil recovery in challenging formations. Alternatively, they can treat produced water, removing 98% of particles larger than 2 microns for direct reinjection, thereby boosting water-flood efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.
Proven in major global fields operated by CNOOC, CNPC, Petronas, and others across Southeast Asia, SJPEE desanders are deployed on wellhead and production platforms. They provide reliable solids removal from gas, well fluids, and condensate, and are critical for seawater purification, production stream protection, and water injection/flooding programs.
Beyond desanders, SJPEE offers a portfolio of acclaimed separation technologies. Our product line includes membrane systems for natural gas CO₂ removal, deoiling hydrocyclones, high-performance compact flotation units (CFUs), and multi-chamber hydrocyclones, delivering comprehensive solutions for the industry’s toughest challenges.
The specialized reconnaissance at OEEG brought SJPEE’s visit to a highly productive conclusion. The strategic insights gained and new connections established have furnished the company with invaluable technical benchmarks and partnership opportunities. These gains will directly contribute to optimizing our manufacturing processes and strengthening our supply chain resilience, laying a solid foundation for SJPEE’s ongoing technological advancement and market expansion.
